Mission statement

About us     The 'Melton Street Surfers Inc.' is a non-profit organization, which seeks to enhance the lives of the youth within our community by providing a safe environment, while helping to develop self-esteem, teamwork skills and self-discipline. The 'Melton Street Surfers Inc.' will be managed by volunteers who are committed to the pursuit of excellence and equality of opportunity for our youth.

  Concept

• As the bus is mobile, it is able to service different areas within the shire and thus is able to have contract with a larger number of youth.
• Run by volunteers who are committed to supporting the youth of Melton and surrounding areas in a positive way.
• Music and games are used as a medium to attract and occupy the youth.
• Fills a gap within the community by providing a safe meeting place after hours.
• Support of Police, Shire, Local Businesses and Community.
